    Default $1 Token Trays

In an effort to get some of the info from the old PC forum over to this one, here is something I posted on cheap token trays:

I wanted to find some Japanese token trays to use at an upcoming party. SlotUSA has them at 6 for $30 plus about another $10 for shipping. Seemed pretty expensive.

I found this tray at the local Walmart:

ItÂ’s the #1622 and is about the same size as a Japanese token tray. It actually looks better in person than it does in the photo. They sell for under a buck!

That original post was made several months ago. The trays really work well. I now have about 20. They can be preloaded with 200 to 300 tokens without interfering with the way they stack. I preload them before a party. When people run out and need more I just hand them another tray, then refill theirs and add it to the stack for the next person.

I use a coin counting scale that automatically subtracts the weight of the token tray, so it's really easy for everyone to cash in at the end of the night.
