    Default What is this part?

I just got my Rio De Carnival and this peice is broken!
Well maybe it is still working but it is cracked and twisted some.
It is just inside the door just under token mechanism.
Can anyone tell me what it is for?
Then i can call the vendor and get a replacement!
    Thanks!

not quite sure from the photo a wider angle view from different angles might help orient where we are on the machine and what it exactly does .black on black is hard to distinguish .but from your description and the first view it might be the door key reset switch hard to tell .

Actually if your right it is broken and it is the key reset switch!
I tried a key reset after i emptied the hopper (HE error) and refilled it and nothing!
Key reset for HE error works on Super Blackjack!

if it is the key reset you should be able to see the keylock move a piece of metal up and down thru it when you turn the key . not all machines reset hopper errors that way my elco has to reset with the button on the door and you best be ready to catch the tokens.
