Here's a not so odd vintage pachinko, but it has one of the funkiest lower ball trays I've ever seen!

I have one of those! Same tray, same case, same colors, same No Fire sign. The playfield is a little different though. Mine has little swinging arms that catch balls and drop them through a payout hole.

The one in that auction could use a good cleaning.

I wouldn't touch that auction without seeing some pictures of the back of the machine first.

There is no way that that machine is from the 40's-50's. Based on the layout and design it appears to be from the late 60's or 70's. You can also tell by looking at the licencing tags. That style wasn't used until the time frame stated.

I didn't think it looked that old, but I know my eye is no where near expert in these matters. Thanks!

It sort of helps that I have 5 or 6 of these sitting in by basement waiting for me to referbish them this summer to go and look at.

Saying one is from the 40s or 50s is an old favorite of the unknowing ebay seller.....

Some things to look out for that can clue you in that a machine is not the pre 60s antique its claimed to be......Semi auto/not single shot....more plastic than wood and metal and neon colors! !
