That sounds about like what I do.
I use my fingers, and just push on them, about halfway along the length of the nail. They seem very strong. Haven't moved one more than a millimeter yet, I think. Also, using your fingers, they get sore pretty quick, which keeps you from going to crazy with the nail bending.
Indeed! Nice idea. Still afraid I'd end up wanting to tweak everything, though.

If there is a side opening to the center I usually adjust the nails slightly, so more balls will go it it.
If I get a ball jam on any path during play, I usually adjust the nails by the jam.
I pretty much do the same thing. I don't worry about the side pockets as I play with the hopper empty.

I think the back LED displays a 4 or 7 I'm not sure, but it doesn't stop the game from playing. I have heard that some games (I guess the older ones) will not shoot if the hopper is empty.

Sankyo will play fine without balls, (lumina and victory frames) Older without card reader Muzoho will also, vintage are mechanicaly locked to prevent shooting of no balls are available for payout. the balls will also backup in the payout area if you run out of balls.

One of the easiest things to do is epoxy a ball to the end of a stick (a pen tube will work).
Take that ball through all the paths and openings. Make sure that it passes through them easily. The ones that are too tight, you loosen up. Sometimes the openings to certain pockets will be so tight a ball will not pass through.
This is a cheap easy way to check your nail spacing.

Well you can credit Arby with that one.
He invented a little dodad awhile back that had 2 marbles with a piece of drinking straw between them. One marble was pachinko ball size and the other was slightly larger. I would take a pic, but I don't know which box it's in still from the move.
I have the official ball gauges now, but that little dodad was the coolest thing for the first year of having pachinkos.

Hello everyone
I'm new to pachinko. I currently own and operate a cafe in Puerto Rico that has a gameroom filled with video slots. I saw some Parlors online and they look great,all those people playing,Beatiful!!! I would like to add a few Pachinko machines to see if my customers like them. Can I really adjust the odds?, which machines do you suggest ,and where do you suggest I buy them? any help will be appreciated Thanks.
