There is'nt a way to adjust the odds electronically, However, The nails can be slightly bent to adjust how the balls tumble and go toward the Start pocket. Basically, widening the nails directly above the start pocket would increase the amount of balls that go in and the amount of spins you can get within a given amount of time.

I suppose there could be a way of adjusting them if, with some electronic components, you made the machine trigger 2 starts for every ball in the start pocket, would theoretically cut odds in half.

I think all that would do is let you rack up spins in half the time. You would still have to go through every spin before a fever. and every ball made after racking up four spins (modern style machine) would just be a waste.

    that's my 2 cents.

In, Livinamovi's case, since he owns a cafe, he would probably want to move pins closer together to decrease the odds of a payout.

But if you fire say 50 shots for each spin, your now firing, in essence, 25 shots per spin, plus your getting 6 balls per ball in the start instead of 3. Yes, the time for the spins will still be the same (think how fast a 100 spin CT would be), but your doing twice as well.

Well, it depends, are you trying to pull a profit off them? then you would have to charge for balls, and I am sure that you and your customers would rather just have it free play =D. I'd just let it be free for your customers, to see if they like it, and if they like then start charging a dime or quarter a ball. =]

I got you beat! It took three weeks (about one hour a night) to get my Indiana Jones to Fever. Using Daverob's Donge, I would play about 2000 balls a night. It took me over 25,000 balls (if not more) to get it to finally fever.
The cool thing...I saw things on the machine I have never seen before.

I found that my machine (vintage Nishijin) was waaaay to hard to hit (seemed like 1 in 40 hit) so I bent a couple nails just the slightest bit (with a pair of pliers... gently) now it pays out constantly!

Much more fun! Especially when I am showing it to someone that doesn't know pachinko. Everyone used to tap the plunger a few times and then seem to be tediously waiting for it to hit a jackpot so they could quit.

Now they are hooked by the first jackpot and I have to push them away from it!
