    Hi!

I'm new here, and sort of new to pachinko machines as well. I just got this machine, and it's the first I've had one since some of the vintage models when I was a little kid.

I have yet to figure the gameplay out in this machine at all. Partly due to how loud it is, and that I live in an apartment and dont want to bug my neighbors. I've been trying to figure out where I could install a volume control knob? I found the one two way switch, but even the quiet setting is still louder than I would like. Is there any chance anyone could help with this?

    Hi James,

    welcome to pachitalk

You are going to have to install after market volume controls to your machine. as on most machines the volume control doesnt do much.

do a search for Volume controls and you will find a lot of different ways to quiet down your machine..

    good luck

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I picked up some little volume controllers from radio shack yesterday, and found the wiring for the top speaker easily enough. I just cant figure out where the other speaker is. There's at least one other speaker lower down in the unit. A forum search showed me that once upon a time someone posted a picture of it for DRM, but the picture link doesnt work anymore. Once I get this thing quieted down a little, I'll definitely be having an evening wasted in front of this machine.

Haha, what a warm welcome here!

I'm happy to say that yesterday I tracked down the other speaker and wires to it. I hadnt realized the tray where you load the balls to play could also swing out, and the speaker was behind it. I used a stereo headphones volume control from radio shack and got both speakers wired up to it. Now they both have the same volume control, which hopefully will hold up for a while without giving out.

I was only able to play for a while last night, but I have to say, the payouts on this machine dont seem very large! Hopefully I'll find that changes once I figure out a few of the better reward modes.

Wink Re: DRM (Daiichi Revolution Machine)

    Hi James,
DRM is a great machine! It does have a volume control on the back of the machine, a slide switch. The only machines I found that need volume controls are the new Sankyo Lumina frame models. Even though they have built in volume controls also, they don't seem to lower the volume enough.
Just play, play, play and you will figure out the game play of the machine.. It's really cool! ENJOY!
