    Default Max Bet button sticking.

My max bet button is sticking on my Street Cats machine. I was wandering how to get the button out to clean it? looks as if I would just pry it, but it is going to take more prying than I wanna pry for the fear of breaking it. Is there a cleaner that I can spray around the button to loosen it up a bit without hurting the machine?

    Thanks...

It probably has crud built up.
Best way is to open the door, unplug it and unscrew the big bezel ring/nut and take it apart and give it a good cleaning .
or without dis assembly you could try to spritz with tiny amount of light mineral oil, like electric razor lube or Spray stainless steel cleaner. A tiny bit really.

contact cleaner sprayed around the button while pressing it a lot, make sure you have the machine shut off !!!!!!!

there usually is a big plastic nut inside that you can take off to remove the button if you have too. I used long channel locks to get to mine to loosen it up.

the small circuit board pops off the bottom to disassemble the button for better cleaning

It appeared to be all one piece so I added a couple drops of electric razor oil to it......

oil can destroy rubber components as well as conduct electricity.

I'm not so sure about using contact cleaner, some contain solvents that will damage plastic. Check the label to see if it's safe for plastic or else you just might glue the button together.

i wouldn't use contact cleaner you aren't getting to the contacts anyway unless you take it apart completely your just trying to free the button of grime build up from tons of fingers the silicone spray will do it nicely . if you decide to tear it down completely then you might want to use the contact cleaner sparingly

I had similar thought about using contact cleaner. I have a can here now.
Most razor oils are just scented mineral oil, manly smelling baby oil. LOL The Kontact Restorer I use is Chemtronics brand it is safe for most plastics and elastomers, it cleans and lubes all types of electronic contacts. so it should be able to clean and lube the non electrical parts of the button as well. Most guys shave but most don't have Kontact resoter handy.
it is spelled with a K on the can
