    Default 25-Pin Connector mod?

So I was cleaning the back of the Lumina frame tonight and noticed that some modification had been made to the connector - what does this accomplish and can I remove this to add on the soon to be released ball loan mod?

Thats your dongle, its used to bypass the computer usually hooked up to the machines in a palour.

without it, your pachinko will not shoot any balls

As Luckydog said, that's the dongle.

The shooter handle on a modern pachinko will not work without the machine being told that a card reader is connected to it. The components on the dongle provide the signal voltage required to make the pachinko think that the card reader is present.

If you buy the enhanced card reader emulator dongle when it is released, then all you need to do is remove this connector and replace it with the new dongle.

I'm intending to post a progress update on the new dongle project, with a few pictures of the first batch of production models, showing them installed on a machine. Only problem is I can't remember where I left my digital camera
