    Default Remote On/Off!

Found these on a good site for gadgets, might work well with a Pachislot or Pachinko.

Nice I (we) use the $9.99 landscape remotes from Menards, I get a few on the same channel and control the whole room with one remote. It works great and is really handy and quick. I can't see the remotes so they don't have to be pretty.

I got HD single channel one after christmas. It was for outdoor lights and was cheap.

But I was not aware of this one. They make good electronic kits. I like their AM/FM transmitters. If they make kits you could put one in a frame. The frequency is a bit close to the 70cm ham radio band and I'd be curious if the tone generator in the radio would trip the device on and off. Like the old garage door openers near the military channels.

I saw those on Ebay and a couple of other places BirdBrain. The thing I didn't like about them was the fact that they will only handle 10amps. The ones I linked to will do 30amps. I thought they would better if you had a couple machines on a power strip that you plugged into it.

I have a question about using remote on/off. Are you guys leaving the machines power button on and just killing power to the transformer, or manually turning off the power button then also turning off the transformer.
I have always been turning the machines off first with the power supply switch, then also turning off the power strips that supply the transformers (for safety). I would love to add these to my x10 control system if its safe to just kill power to the transformer and then turn it back on without damaging the machine.

The machines I have plugged into a power strip I leave switched on and use the power strip switch to turn off machines. Been doing this for years and never had a problem.

99% of the users just turn em on and off with a power strip.

Just a follow up on these La Crosse remote outlets.
I bought some from Amazon (cheapest price shipped) and I have rewired 2/3 of my game room so far.
These things a cool as hell! I now have all the wiring below the tables. Makes for a much neater looking room, plus no more having to reach between machines to get to the power strips to turn stuff on and off.
Had them on for about 6 hours straight, played some games got some bonuses and fevers and these outlets stayed cool to the touch the whole time.
I highly recommend them anyone who wants to remotely turn on their game room.

Last Christmas, Walmart had outdoor remotes for about $10 each.
I found 3 that had the same frequency and put them around the room with the neon lights and Machines on power strips to the RC outlets.
I can go in and start 14 machines and 5 lights with a simple push of the button. Now I have two spare remotes

This is what I did as well It is great until the Mrs shows up and turns me off.

Metz has the same setup and we noticed a cool effect when we turn on several of the same machines at the same time the attract modes sync up and have a syncronized light show. real cool looking every other machine is in sync.
