New Sea Story is a colourful family oriented Pachinko machine recently retired from Japan's Pachinko parlours and in excellent, "almost new" condition. This particular model and theme is one of the most popular ever in recent pachinko history. The videos show a number of happy sea animals and catchy music that plays each time a pachinko ball is scored in the centre pocket underneath the video window. If three similar creatures line up, you will win a prize of multiple rounds where you get to shoot for a bigger prize that can result in hundreds of pachinko balls streaming out of the front of the machine (into a convenient catcher in the front). The turtles at the top will also start swimming.
Pachinko is not like pinball, it stands upright, and you shoot multiple balls by the use of a knob at the base which can control just how hard and fast the balls are shot into the machine. By varying this knob you get control over just where the balls will begin their journey down the face of the pachinko playfield. Brass pins are carefully placed to guide the balls this way or that, your goal is to aim to get the balls to drop into specific holes and targets to generate wins which release more balls to you as a prize. In Japan, those winning balls can be turned in for prizes.
This is a real modern computerized Pachinko Machine, it will last for many, many years as it was built to withstand the abuse that a casino location gives. Please do not confuse it with the old type Pachinkos from the 70's that shoot only one ball at a time from a hand spring lever.
