    Default My Ears are bleeding!

    Hello all!
My first Pachinko machine just arrived. Indiana Jones. What a great game. I would enjoy it more if I did not have to stand 20 feet away and operate it with sticks because it is beyond loud. Do you fellow Pachinko have a fix for this or should I buy aircraft grade headgear. I am pretty handy with soldering and wires so if it can be toned down some way please let me know. Thanks

One of the members here has volume controls in the auction. His name is Coronetgtx. We've all been there, good luck!

Also, there are many threads about this specific subject, some with pictures.

Welcome onboard jjinaz, yes unfortunately Indiana seems to be one of the loudest out there. Volume controls are definately needed, but easily installed. If you do a search on the subject you will find lots of information on the subject.

I sure wish this technique would have worked on my ex-wife...

A really low tech way to quickly get a small measure of temporary relief I've used is some clear packing tape cut to fit and put over the speaker grills. It helps some--sometimes enough, especially for the machines where the speaker wires are hard to find or hard to get to.

A lot of people also use cotton balls to muffles the sounds a bit. Pros and cons to both I guess

for a quick temporary fix, put a sock in each speaker hole in the door.
