Wow....All I can say is: This machine truly represents what pachinko should be. This easily still my favorite machine.

I'll second that motion. It may be an older machine but don't let that stop you.

It has a very different gameplay compared to most modern Pachinkos. Great looks and great gameplay, what more do you need?

    Penguins

Not real sure about the Yellow Case but the Cell looks like one very funky Pachi-a-go-go!!

It looks to me like it should scare small children but hey, an 8 foot yellow bird doesn't so what do I know?

Is the sound any good? The gameplay does look interesting.

Unlike the newest machines. This doesn't play constant music (except in a bonus round). It however does produce a sound when a ball goes through a gate.

Game play: Simple put, it is the best. Unlike the newest machines, it has game play. With this machine you play rounds. There are 16 balls per round. Using those ball you have to maximize your payout by placing them in the right spot.

To arrive at a fever round, you have to activate the first two portals. There are three of them total. They are numbered on the board 1, 2 and 3. And are hit in sequential order.

You aim for the number one portal first. Every time a ball goes through this, it activates the mini slot window. You keep aiming for this portal until you end up with three "3" or three "7".

When this happens, portal 2 opens. And will stay open until a ball goes through. At this point, the game announces "Fish On". The ball falls through the hole into a lower chamber were a spinning wheel will pick it up. There are five slots on this wheel. Only one slot will take it to the top were it will activate the fever round.

After the fever round is activated, portal three opens. Of course now the idea is to aim for this portal. At this point it should be mentioned that along the bottom there are 16 gates. This is where those gates become very important. Every time you get four of those gates activated in a row, you win 15 balls. In a fever round, there are two express gates below the third portal that activates several of the below gates. After getting balls through and or activating those grouped gates, the idea is activate as many of the gates beside them. This will maximize your winnings. There are 14 rounds to a fever.

THIS IS GAME PLAY. And does take some practice, unlike other machines. The game play on this is very much like it's sister machine, "Apollo". There is a wonderful review of that machine in the museum.
