Default Tomb Raider - pachinko/samurai slot

Did anyone else get one of these notes from Pachinko? They had 4-5 of the Tomb Raider slots listed, so I'm guessing I'm not the only one left out...

Hello. Sorry we have a Tomb Raider machine but it's still in container hold on harbor right now between custom proces declaration. It will take a few weeks to ship to you. If you want we could refund to you. Please let us know how you want to this.

    Sorry for inconvenience

I'm not sure how that happens unless they are listing items that they don't even physically have yet. Anyone?

another post states that the machines are listed on ebay in Japan,

the lister assumed the container had cleared customs and arrived at CF.

Apparently, the ebay portion is run in Japan and on occasion things get listed before they even make it ashore. They better hope no one gets miffed enough to report them...

I received the same message and don't plan to do anything about it at this time. Hopefully the machine is decent, the $99. plus shipping price was good compared to another seller that was more then twice this price.

I hate to say it, but at LEAST there is communication. Something that was sorely lacking before. Good luck!!

That's pretty much what I thought, at least they let me (us) know. I'll wait it out, and see how it comes out.

I think you'll be okay with them. Tom @ Samurai seems to be a very professional person and has kept every promise he's made with my issues.

when i spoke with him today about the thunderzone machine he did tell me that he had container(s) waiting to be cleared by customs and that he should get them soon....it boils down to is it worth the wait and or risk to get a good deal

Hey a bird (your money) is worth more than two (no sales) in the bush to them. This is also a very clever way to finance shipments that haven't even been shipped from Japan .

Be sure you let them know that they have only so long before you will cancel your order with your credit card company (you did use your credit card for protection via PayPal didn't you?) and also cancel with PayPal. Be sure to check what your credit card company says the time limit is. And by all means keep records. This could be the beginning of the end for them on Ebay.

I personally am back off the track with Panchinko, Samurai and of course CF. This is a bad way to do business.

I really think, based on my conversation with Tom its an issue that his boss is in Japan and thought they had container already. Tom was really upset that his boss had put them on Ebay. I'm like some in here, I'll wait it out. I know if they dont get Tom will refund me or offer me something else.

How much more are you guys / gals going to tolerate to save a little money?

Here's how the scenario will play out...

Yes you can get a refund or eventually the machine or another machine in the mix but in the meantime, their backlog is building as you are not the only people to give to people doing slight of hand tricks with your cash.

Now it's an auction... Now it doesn't exist... Poof... Presto Chango...

So when the containers do arrive, Tom is going to be pulling his hair out to begin to fill the orders and what happens next, you guessed it, quality of service, i.e., prepping the machine goes right out the window because they don't have time. From the moment those containers are opened and they begin to unload them, everything in Tom's world speeds up exponentially.

They are going to be chunking these machines off the containers so fast, dropping them, scratching them, not prepping them, you only thought one screw to hold the transformer was a bad idea. They'll spray off the top round of dirt on them and off they go, into the box. Actually turning them on and testing them is going to be a luxury item they can't afford.

No problem though, you have that great warranty to protect your investment.

You know, My collection is up to 10 machines now. All but 2 have come from Tom. Of the eight that came from Tom all were in great condition. If Tom would have done something to not earn my trust fine, but thats not the case. I use to be a Cooperate Retail Manager for the largest karaoke company online. That company from time to time would have shipments get held up in customs for little things on the paper work. So this is not an unheard of situation. I will give him a few weeks to get or we can discuss refunds or diffrent machines. I really dont think hes playing games.

There have been a lot of new auctions by Samuraislot this past weekend on ebay - perhaps that container finally cleared customs?

Since they've continued to list the Tomb Raider slot, I hope they cleared customs, and they are not just continually selling things they don't have...
