    Default What to choose?

Hello All, I am new to the pachislo world, and have spent the last few days trying to read as much about them here on the fourms as I could. I started out just trying to find the cheapest machine with the lowest shipping, and now after hours of reading I know that is the wrong approach! I have decided to purchase my machine(s) from Stealth, but still cant decide on a model.

I was really interested in the 3 machine package they have, which include King Camel, Very Nice and Fire Drift. By what I've read everybody has high regards for King Camel, but I havent really seen anybody talk about the other 2.

I am also open to suggestions for a first time owner. Just keep in mind I am on a limited budget, because my girlfriend isnt sold on putting these in our new home yet. :disappoin

Thanks for having such an informative forum!

    ~Aaron

    to PachiTalk!!

Unfortunately I can't really give an opinion on the 3 Machines you mention as I don't own or have ever played any of them........

However, the King Camel is held in high regard here amongst the Members

You could take a look in the Museum part of the Forums or use the Search Function to find out a little more information about the other two Pachislos

KC is a great game without question. FireDrift is a good game also.Looks great and Plays well, has modern music. I had one for a while before I gave it up. The "Very Nice" I never seen before. On looks alone it looks ..well..Very Nice.
Those three games would make a very good start.

I have both the KC and Fire Drift. I enjoy them both but have had the most fun and surprises playing the KC. I love the crazy reel action and you never know what to expect next. Fire Drift is nice with the video screen and all but is pretty predictable after you play it a while. You will never get tired of KC.

    Welcome lawd_low,

Since you are on a limited budget why don't you only pick up the king camel. You can find a lot of machines that are better than the other two in the package. Stealth had an auction end with king camel at 125 with no bids (auction 320090086506). I think you might be able to get a king camel for around 200 shipped if you are willing to wait and bid on ebay. Your girlfriend could then see the 1 machine and if she is impressed you could purchase more. If she doesn't seem happy at least it is only 1 machine.

Another thread posted had some other recommendations about sleeper machines that were very good. I think Continental XXXX can be purchased cheap and I read it is pretty good. Just something to think about. The package deal has a nice price but I think you will do better picking the machines individually even if you have to pay a little more. The museum also has reviews about the machines to help you make a better decision in choosing. Also they have videos of some of the machines in action.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the info. I'm still waiting on an approval, before I can view the museum. Hopefully I'll be approved soon, that way I can make a final decision tonight and order tomarrow!!!

    Option 1
I would tap into what your girlfriends interests are, e.g. does she collect anything in particular, does she have a favourite TV show, etc. Then look on the market for a pachislo that is held in high regard that fits in with her interests. So, likes austin powers maybe, buy an austin powers.

    Option 2
The second way forward is to offer a deal, e.g. she gets something she wants for the home (my wife wanted a leather sofa) so she got one and i got the pachilso. You could then go for something like Sinbad Adventure, the mighty king camel, super blackjack maybe.

    Option 3
A harsh option, replace girlfriend with another girlfriend and buy something from above.

    Option 4
Dont have girlfriend at all, as once you get a pachislo im afraid the addictive nature of these machines will involve buying more and with your home you would have loads of space with just yourself living there..
