If they painted the mailboxes like that it would be kind of interesting. I'm going to shy away from "cool" as I think once you had seen one, you would want them to repaint them to be not noticeable again. As for the princess stamp, well she can't exactly fit into that slave girl outfit any longer. It was reported she even ate the honeybun hairdo she had!

It is very rare to see a postal box like that anymore where I live. They have done away with most of them...they are however still located in front of the Post Office... Geez, I thought the whole point of them was so that you didn't have to go to the Post Office...

I have got to agree with Youngjedi - I would be wary of using one of those mailboxes as I can see a lot of them getting stolen by Star Wars Fans who have to have everything Star War related.

The rarer the better!

I'm not sure I'd worry about that too much. This isn't the FBI or the CIA it's the Postal Inspectors, those guys are mean! They will hunt you down and throw you away for stealing from them.

Now wouldn't you want to be in Federal Prison telling the other inmates you're there for stealing a Star Wars mailbox... Welcome to being everyone's belle of the ball!

A Did You Know . . . .

A post office mail box was designed in the begaining to be able to stop a round nose .38 lead bullet.
It was that way so police officers had a point of cover in a gun battle.

Now I don't know if that is with these newer ones or just the older Steel ones.

Than again, who even shoot the lowlly Round nose lead bullet in .38 ?
