New Pulsar Red vs. Black

It took me a moment to notice this but there were 2 very big differences. Is there any reason for the reels be different. I cannot find anything else except the color being different. As for the "red" one, the sound also is coming out a bit louder and clearer than the "black" one, even though they are both set on lowest possible volume. Thanks in advance.

As an update, I hit a Bonus Round with 3 Bars on the "black", and during play those 3 lights on the right did not come on yet. It may be just because I did not go into the round too much as it is late, and I have people in bed lol. In either case, I do wish to know what makes them light up and why these 2 models are so different. Also the 3-2-1-2-3 that are on the left are the same size on the right on the "black." On the "red," the ones on the right are smaller.
