Well I got lucky and won a Julie on Ebay for.. $120.49 + Ship.
I called them today and got a valid (Checked on Fed-ex) tracking number.

If the membership is interested, I can report on how it arrives and what condition its in..

Great find, I paid about $90. more for mine from the same seller. Still waiting for replacement lights that were burnt out. The machine was in great shape, but dirty as heck. GOOD LUCK

Great deal! I got mine from the same place for $50.00 more with three burned out bulbs. Everything works great and it is very clean.

GREAT BUY! I got mine for $50 more, too... 2 burnt out bulbs which they did send replacements for. My machine was pretty darn clean, too. Just basically cigarette smoke that needed to be removed. A couple of scratches that buffed out and it looks fantastic now.

Yes, I am greatful you didnt bump up the price.. I actually had bid up to what one would have cost from thier website.. $280.00.... But I was HOPING it wouldnt go that far.. Money being tight right now..

I hope all goes well with the travel to your address and i hope you got those volume controls ordered or allready .The Julie is , in my humble opinion one of the very few machines that would fit in any gameroom /recreation room /living room decor .

Mr. Fix, a good volume control recommended would be the 5 for $15 deal from American Syscom. They're easy to install with a quick and easy solder. Here is the link for them:

I've used these in the past and they work well. Basically, you cut one line to a speaker and solder in the control. Do that for each speaker. It's a clean, easy install. Adjust the switch to your preferred volume level and you're done.

I've also used more expensive L-Pad switches, they require a little more wiring. I've installed them with cabinets and mounted the volume control switch to the outside of the cabinet.

Be sure to set your Julie to the lowest setting on the volume slider and take care not to overheat the control while soldering.

Thanks for the tip.. I will use my soldering station set to the lowest temp possible. Nice to know when you have something thats sensative to temperature before you put the soldering iorn to it!
