    Default Vintage "Computer Pachinko"

A while ago I purchased a vintage pachinko called "Computer Pachinko".
It has several features that have it a blast to play. I have been searching all over for more information about it. I would like to learn more about who did it and why. I also would like to try to trace its history. As far as I know it was sold to the seller that sold it to me by a antique dealer in BC Canada that retired and moved back to England. That is all I know about it besides what the plate says on the playboard.
If you can help me on getting more information - I would appreciate it !

    Thankyou !

I'm afraid that this was made when the Tulsa syndicate was wearing vertical stripped bell-bottoms as the official uniform... :smt028

    Azlew,

Are there any special badges or labels that might assist?

Sometimes just a keyword can mean all the difference!

    David :

Here is all I have on it besides the "Computer Pachinko" name on the overhead light area :

three star (name on the actual pachinko part)
    Maybe this is the Manufacturer?

On the name plate bottom right behind the glass it says on what looks like a custom made metal plate:

    Computer Pachinko
    Indoor Use Only
    Model PM2, AC117V, 50/60HZ 1 AMP
    Ser No. SM 00046
    Made In Japan LR37525
Satomi Co. , Ltd Tokyo Japan

I am guessing that Satomi Co. ,Ltd is the one that took the pachinko manufactured by 3 star and customized into the coin operated Computer Pachinko ?

It's a different Pachinko inside plus has a taller base.

So this Satomi company used different Pachinkos in their apparent standard coin operated frame.

I am curious how you were able to loacte this since it is more than 30 days out...hmmm

Thats interesting that they were Sammy before or they split off to become Sammy ? I have been wondering and searching trying to find someone and something that can tell me what made them slap regular pachinkos into an coin operated case etc. I can't find anything. You and Tulsa found a heck of a lot more than my search engines did !
