Default Any good cell light mods?

playing with my machine (which i finally got a cheap stand for) I find it is rather difficult to see the play filed (especially with the barrage of lights flashing at me every now and again )

Has anyone installed any sort of illumination for the cell?

I'd hate to have to rely on a lamp. What fun would that be?

a few people have used a light similar to ones for displaying paintings.

track lighting may also be an option.

Did you route it through the back of the cell to the space, like at the top.. or do you just have it going around? Also are you just connecting the the power on the machine?

or you can use neon like thin neon that you put round a dash in a car just need a 12v power suply and feed it around the inside of the glass im looking at this option myself

That could be cool- Put a dimmer on it. The neon might just add to the head-pain that already comes with most machines!

I used 110v strip light between the glass on the Garfield, and a rope light in between the cell and door on the Magic lamp girl. thats not very bright but it helps light the top pins, It would be nice to light the top LEDs on the lumina frame at will.

I'm seriously considering mounting a small disco ball/light at the top of my Maharaja cabinet.

I added a battery operated LED piano light to my Bunny Girl pachinko to illuminate the cell. I didn't want to deal with electrical cords so what I went with wasn't the cheapest way to go but it works great. You can also flip the arm around to get more direct lighting but it interferes with opening the cell door.

    Here's a picture:

Cool statue on the Bunny Girl. And, I like the chrome edged case!!! Same as mine.

Oh yeah, the light is cool, too.

If you can get a ball twice the size maybe a 6 inch disco ball and arrange colored LEds around it it would matchup with the existing ball nicely. a swell topper!

Yeah that's the idea I'm going with. They sell something like that on ebay....I'm hoping to snipe one for a decent price. If not, I'll have to make something.
