Has anybody tried replacing the Reel Backlights with LEDs. I noticed Stealth does this on a couple of his machines. I would assume you would need to clip the wires and add the proper resistor to the LED for it to function.

Do a search for LED replacement and you should find a bunch on it.
There were a couple of detailed threads on how to do it.
