    Default Gameroom Evolution

I would just like to share something that I got thinking about. At my old house I had a pooltable and dartboard with some nintendo games and such, but when I moved to this new house I was posed with the problem, hey where r ya gunna put your pool table? I ended up moving withouth the pooltable, limited space at the new house but little did I know not limited enough for pachislo. So here is how it started....... I see this guy with a bunch of tables on the side of the road at an antique shop which at the time I thought were slot machines "oblivious to pachislo and what it even meant" I decided to stop I played with a bunch of the diffrent machines and after an exhaustive amount of questions and learning, I fell in love with Tarot Master. ahhh yes my first machine. I packed that creapy machine into my backseat of my car. I drove that thing home, plugged it in and played for hours, for it to tell me "DEATH" a few times on the bonus reel, I thought to myself, "God what did I buy" My pachislo journey was to begin on this day, i nestled this machine in my kitchen and played it non stop! as each one of my friends would come over and play they would comment on "How cool this is" I soon thought, "ya know what it really is pretty cool", now for the sickness. with just recently learning all about pachislo, I was anxious to see what else was out there and what I may be missing. So long story short, my guest bedroom soon went bye bye. I went ahead and hopped online and began splurging on like 4 machines for the first round. it grew and grew and grew from there, following with the mirrored walls and the nice lookin stands to the bar stools, I was soon beginning to think holy cow, u nut ! You have basically a casino in your house, your friends thought one machine was cool, waite untill the next time they come and visit!. So next time I had friends over and I powered up those machines it was like atlantic city or vegas, their eyes lit up like, wow, this is crazy !!! Im like i know. Now I guess my point here is I am thankful for pachislo's for they have evolved in the new era of gameroom's and for you pachinko lovers, same applys. between the two we have been able to create an arcade styled "casino" gameroom, that years ago would not have been possible with american slot machines, they are simply just big, clunky and boring. Now with pachislo the games get better, more exciting and the imaginations of us pachislo/pachinko lovers are endless.Gamerooms in the past needed large amounts of room ,lets face it arcade style games even the best classics, pinball machines, pool tables they are just way to cumbersome! I would just like to say, I enjoy my gameroom and am really thankfull I got into pachislo, because I enjoy it very much and every time I play my machines or invite friends it's always a party!....I stop and I say..."hmmmm" the old house, now, kinda makes the pool table boring. Please all share your stories of appreciation to Pachislo/Pachinko and what got you into this and just how far you have taken your hobby, what have others reactions been to your intrest? :13:

My game room started as the workout room with the weight machine, free weights, jogger tramp, speed bag and a dart board. the tramp is history and one station of the weight machine as well. Now it has pachislo, pachinko, and neon.

My gameroom started in my old bedroom at my parents house. Now it's beginning to kick my wife out of the house. Mind you that was 2 years ago so time really didn't move that much. I now have 3 rooms that are either full or soon to be full. Upstairs bedroom has 5 pachislos and 3 pachinkos along with a 4 player arcade MAME setup. Basement redone recently which is seperated it into two rooms. The basement is going to have 2 pinball tables hopefully LOTR and SSP (Simpsons Pinball Party) and a Benami arcade that is going to have Pop N Music, DDR, and Beatmania interchangable controllers. Then from there who knows where is addiction will take me. Oh yeah, my eletric bills are going up.
