It's Here! It kicks A$$! It's METAL SLUG!
10.4" LCD at the top. HUGE! It displays stats in english! Well, mostly. This is a predominately english machine and what's not in english is fairly easy to figure out. You can scroll through 3 days of stats as well as see personal stats for your turns. The personal stats can be reset at will.
Right now I have it set on 6 and it's a stingy bugger. Could possibly be the reverse and 6 is the hardest like my IGT machines. I've played 693 rounds so far with no RB or BB. some cool mini games though. Shoot a box to see what you win, shoot the enemy. shoot everything! The stop sound is a gunshot. The reels are backlit and multi color using leds for the lighting. 2 LED light panels are on each side of the LCD and they change colors and flash fairly often. Can't wait to see a BB.
Initial testing shows that the credit mod should work as well as the Auto Stop. The one thing that may not work is the spin knob connection for the auto stop as it is reverse logic from the rest. I now Rob made the buttons sense either way but I don't think he changed the spin knob logic since the IGT slots used that as normal rather than reversed like the buttons.
More later including video. I would dare to say the slot is worth DGI's reserve. It's a damn entertaining game!
