Default Lumina Frame front buttons / dongle question

Newbie here, patience I require. I have been reading through the forums and threads and FAQS for awhile now. I have brushed up on Daverob's battle counter output terminal faq, the lumina frame manual, and just about anything on dongles I could handle.
So here's my question. Is there a pinout/diagram/reference guide to creating my OWN dongle. One that does what the existing one does, but also gives me access to use the front buttons for contact closures. I own a Star Wars pachinko in a Lumina Frame. I am adding a few mods to activate features throughout my gameroom, mostly lighting displays on my Star Wars collection (Fever Mode activates the lightsabers on my Sideshow 1/4 scale Darth and Obi-Wan for example, Boba Fett says "He's no good to me dead" when the hopper is empty). I am using isolated relays to control x10 modules to accomplish this. I want to add lighting control to dim the room when playing and can do so with the 2 buttons if only I knew how to access them / what pins they are. I am just knowledgeable enough to be dangerous, however do not want to make any mods directly to the machine, just adding peripherals to enhance gameplay. My machine is intergrated into the shelving where my collection is, and is quite the attention getter. I will post pics when done if anyone interested.

I want to thank everyone in advance for all the advice you have already given me. This group is wonderful.

This is the full pinout for the D-25 dongle connector on the back of the machine....

    1 AC24V (Output) - AC24 Power Supply
2 PSI (Output) - Connected Verification Signal
    3 SEG A (Input) - Segment A Signal
    4 SEG B (Input) - Segment B Signal
    5 SEG C (Input) - Segment C Signal
    6 SEG D (Input) - Segment D Signal
    7 SEG E (Input) - Segment E Signal
    8 LG - Power Supply 0V (+18V)
    9 LG - Power Supply 0V (+18V)
10 TDLO (Input) - Ball Loan Available LED Signal
11 BRDY (Input) - Card Unit READY Signal
12 EXS (Output) - Ball Loan Verification Signal
13 PRDY (Output) - Stand READY Signal
    14 DG 1 (Input) - Digit 1 Common Signal
    15 DG 2 (Input) - Digit 2 Common Signal
    16 DG 3 (Input) - Digit 3 Common Signal
    17 VL (Input) - Power Supply +18V
    18 VL (Input) - Power Supply +18V
    19 SEG F (Input) - Segment F Signal
    20 SEG G (Input) - Segment G Signal
21 TDS (Output) - Borrow (玉貸) Switch Signal
22 RES (Output) - Return (返却) Switch Signal
23 BRQ (Input) - Ball Loan Required Signal
    24 FG - Frame Ground
    25 AC24V (Output) - AC24 Power Supply

The signals you are after are the switch connections on pins 21 and 22, when pressed the switch output pins are connected to the ground pins (8,9).

The components that are already on the dongle are used to provide the +18v voltage on the VL pins so that the pachinko machine thinks there is a card reader unit present. Do not be tempted to draw any current from this +18v supply on an existing dongle, as it is only designed to provide enough current to drive a single opto-isolator LED. Any extra load is very likely to cause the voltage to drop significantly and then the pachinko is unlikely to work properly.

If you need a supply to power relay coils from, then you're going to provide your own +18v supply on the VL and LG pins. This voltage can be derived from the AC24v pins (which is what the components on the existing dongle are for!) or you can supply it from your own circuit.

    Welcome to pachitalk.

Please let us know when your house has burned down from any electrical problems....
I wish you the best of luck, i'll just wait for the enhanced emulator dongle from Daverob when he starts selling them.
If you like a full size lightsaber of mace windu than you can have mine for a bargain price.
I bought it several months ago, but it might sound strange but it is in the way at the moment, so it needs to go.

But good luck with the hobby and enhancements of your gameroom.
