Default Semi-cyclic Or Full-cyclic Or Regular

I just purchased Mr Birdbrains Star Wars Pachinko and case. In the auction he has offered to make it semi cyclic or fully cyclic if I wanted. I read some of the threads about this. I was just curious what you would choose or would you just keep it without any changes. Also can the process be reversed once it has been changed. Thanks for any input.

And thank you Mr Birdbrain for putting up a great machine on auction. I am sorry to see you sell one of your babies. I promise to take real good care of her.

with semi-cyclic all balls come to the front of the machine. i have been making the cuts on the machine and blocking the old ball tracks with closed cell foam. this is non-permanent and i've cut a second piece that can block the cuts so it is restored to parlor ready. the nice thing is there are enough unused voids in the ball track system that the unused precut foam can be stored internal of the machine so it is not lost and is right next to the space it needs to go in.
full-cyclic is pretty much non-reversible without buying new parts.

    congrats on the machine
converting it to cyclic is alot like picking out the right machine
what one person likes might not be the same for others, so i think nobody has the correct answer
get the machine play it for a while and convert it yourself later if you want to
and learn more about your machine and the hobby in the process
of course thats just my opinion

I prefer to keep my machines as original as possible, palour ready is the most exciting in fever, with trying to keep up with the ball handling.

semi-cyclic makes the fever rounds easier to handle. the paint tray mod is easy for this without taking the pachinko apart and cutting your ball tracks.

full cyclic is still fun, but takes away a lot of the excitement during a fever.

when i first got my rocky machine it was not moddified, i played it that way for a while and then i made it semi-cyclic so i dont have to reach-around to retreive the balls from the back
it was my first pachinko machine, and from reading here about others doing the same thing helped me with the process (and i took alot of pictures so i knew where everthing went back)

    Birdbrain,
If no cuts were done on the ball tracks I will take her without any changes. I will try luckdogs paint tray mod or the desk mod. This way no modifications have to be done. Thanks again Birdbrain, I am getting excited about her arriving.

I made my Star Wars Semi Cyclic. I was going to go fully cyclic but couldn't see an easy way to do it on the Lumina case. I stopped filling the hoppers, I rather enjoy the fever with all its lights, videos and sounds and not worry about over flowing ball trays or empty hoppers. It takes my attention away from the action. Star wars is Semi and all my others are full but they all are reversable.

    Chrisdice,
How are they reversable for fully cyclic?

I would just remove what was added and hot glue what is missing. I cut old credit cards in to strips and use them to make a ball track. Its not always pretty but its out of site, so as long as it works your good. My Bunny girl didn't require any cutting so that just involves re attaching a plastic cover with 4 screws. After playing cyclic I have no desire to go back anytime soon. If I sell any of them I might change it back.
