Default TOP GUN LCD Needed Along With How To Replace

I just bought a Top Gun Pachislo off of ebay. I've been looking for one of these for awhile and I got one for a great price but it was bought as is. It has a large area of dead pixels on the LCD screen. Does anyone know where I could buy a replacement LCD? Machine is by Daido and I believe it's the same LCD used on some of there other models like Fever Ghost. Also any info or tips on how to remove and replace LCD would be great. Thanks!

Stealth and Gaku is where I would start. Also Ted has a broken top gun but I'm not sure whats wrong with it. It might be the LCD but you can contact him and find out.

when I got one of my pachinkos the lcd screen was just hanging by the wires and a few other boards were hanging loose,

everything just popped back in place very easy.

I swapped lcd's on Eleco's and big screen Sammy's fairly easy. I don't think the Top Gun would be any harder.

You need to replace the LCD. They offered me these machines from one of my suppliers in Japan a few months ago and I turned them down. Great machine otherwise. The computer board connected to the LCD should be fine. We had some a few years ago with this problem and I found another supplier to send me the LCD screens. Not too difficult a repair, just keep track of what you remove (you need to remove the entire top computer board)...once it is in your hands, remove the LCD screen and chuck it...it cannot be repaired from what I understand....put the new board in place and reinstall. The problem is the machine is a few years old and I could not find a replacement LCD monitor with the exact pin connections...Best of luck on your quest! Like I said, great machine!! Milt

Looks like Daido had quite a few models with the same LCD.
