I noticed the pulsars are froggie based..

My better half is really into frogs so that is why I was looking..

I was hping he had the King of King Pulsar....

Anyways.. I emailed him and he told me to bring the machine back to the fair and he would make it right..

He most be the only thing at 7 mile fair that is not Ghetto or Trash..

I just have one concern.. My Sankyo Bomber Powerful take 5 minutes before i get a decent picture on the LCD.. It fades in and out and rolls.

The machine works great.. It is our first machine. It has been fun so far..

Well it is either the hi voltage (requifer ? is wearing out) or under powered transfomer or the LCD is bad.

Maybe this explains the tingle I am getting if my wrist wrests on anything metal...It's like a little tingle.. Dosn't even make you jump..

I get that with my Hanabi Hyekki I received from Gaku. But besides that the machine is perfect.

there is a short, in your machines, they need a good ground.

Ok my Mom collect frogs and I want a Pulsar model for her but the improper grounds are no joke, replace the 2 wire transformer line (if present) with a grounded 3 wire cord. connect black to positive, white to ground and green to frame add in a small fuse in the black wire to make me proud and you have a tingle free safe machine.

Pachislo Direct is going to take care of m issues..

I will probably ground the machine after my warranty is up.. Untill then I don't want to modify anything.

I work for a Wire and Cable Manufacturer, so getting grouded power cords is cake for me.. Well they are coke for anyone (Hardware Store)..

at least run a wire from the metal on the power supply case case out to the center screw on the wall outlet!! if Dave is that crazy about his warranty you can clip it in place with an alligator clip. but i'll tell you what ,i wouldn't be buying a machine from him if he has a problem with upgrading the safety of the machine.id plan and suing if someone gets hurt.

I recently added to the owners manual a disclaimer regarding the warranty that if the owner adds a bandit arm, auto stop or volume controls I will no longer give out replacement machines or parts. You wouldn't believe how many people have attempted to add these things and ended up ruining the machine or certain parts and coming back to me for a new machine and saying it malfuctioned. I have had auto stop boards messed up with improper soldering to ruining the joystick wiring while adding a arm and the sound boards burn out from wiring volume controllers improperly. Anything besides what I listed above I have no problem people doing themselves.

THANK YOU DAVE !! that is a realistic answer using common sense reasons! do you offer vol controls installed? ( it would be worth the money for the customers) Jeff: run your ground for safety reasons. you may find it clears up your other problems if they are related to stray voltage also.

Regarding grounding....

As much as I'm a fan of all original, the first thing I do with all of my machines is rewire them. If they don't have a good case ground I add grounding straps all over the place. Then I install a standard IEC C14 chassis plug on the back of the machine (that's that 3 pronged dealy like your computer power cord plugs into on the back of your machine, go unplug it and look now heheh, or go see here... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...C60320_C14.jpg ).

This not only adds to the safety of the machine, but when I go to move one the power cord just unplugs so it's not dangling around.

I also mount a small rocker switch on the lower right side of the case to turn it on and off, but that doesn't really fit in with the whole grounding conversation....
