Default Help! Which one should I pick???

I'm thinking of ordering my first custom machine with my theme choice and will likely have several basic (non-LCD) machines to choose from? What basic machines would you recommend for such a project? I would like to find a basic machine that is fun to play just from the reel action, machine noises, etc.

I also think the designs on the reels should be pretty basic (cherries, bells, etc.) so that they'll fit with any theme. Using something like Wild Wolf or Super Bingo might look weird on a custom because no theme would match reels with a picture of a wolf.

I will be able to customize the belly glass and the top, so the space around the reels should be pretty basic too that it will also fit with any theme.

I appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks!!

the basic red pulsar has generic music and seems like a popular one to customize.

I bought an automatic to mod but have left the graphics alone for now. it is non lcd, generic sounds and a fun machine to boot.

I recently bought a red and a black New Pulsar as I was going to give one away. Is there any difference between the 2 other than their colors. I heard black is more "rare", but thats coming from pachinko_pallace, and honestly it seems every one is rare to them. I also have a Super Planett 999 and it does not seem all that different from Neo Planet at all.

The black is probably more rare over on this side of the shore but it's not going to equate to more value. More of just an oddity.
