Agreed. They state a 7-day warranty. It does not say "except ashtrays." If they don't have the parts to send - then they should RMA the whole unit or refund the money.

Glad you said this Doc. I was thinking about this last night after I got off. Just because they are not offering a warranty on the machine doesn't get them off the hook for delivering the machine as shown on the auction... With this kind of logic there's nothing stopping them from dropping a machine our the 2nd story window, then scooping the pieces into a box, send it to you and say sorry no warranty. This is just flat out wrong.

I agree - Give them another try and let them know if they don't plan to take care of this you will open a PP dispute.

By them being able to state the words "as is" in their disclaimers it allows them to do what they just did. It is becoming more and more apparent that if there is a 7 day warranty it is only for delivery claims against whoever they use for deliveries. With the way they apparently are packing pachis I doubt that UPS or Fed Ex would accept a delivery claim anyway.
I say BID LOW and be happy if you win because you will get a deal on the parts if the pachi comes in all broken up.
Just accept it that they are a junk vendor and if by chance you get a perfect pachi in from them = be happy and do one of arbycoffee's dances

Here's something interesting I noticed...if I type Valley Gaming, it gets changed by the filter. But if you reply to this thread and look back at this post, crappy ol Valley Gaming appears untouched.

Again I agree Doc. "What you see is what you get" or supposed to get... For anyone to deliver a product and stand behind "as is" when it arrives busted up is an unfair representation. If they want to post an auction with no pics, "as is" and send a pile of junk, then no problem. Until such time bidders should expect to get what is pictured - although what it looks like after deliver is another issue...

That's because there is some honor in your country.

What we are dealing with here is a Japanese exporter coming into the USA and taking what they can and just "maybe" getting out after the damage has been done. The maybe part is just a guess and certainly will be a subject to scrutinize later. But for right now it is BUY LOW and buyer beware....

Getting back to honor. The Japanese are a very honorable people. I do not feel these people are indicative of their countries values. They certainly would not be able to pull off in Japan what they have done here.

Just got my $41.01 Nangoku Idol from Panchinko.
It took a week and no tracking number even after I asked for one.
Light on packing and only a slip of paper telling me how to change the odds.
It is 100v and no transformer.
It is a nice machine for $41 but the shipping will treble that.
Nice sound and a 10 position volume control ...oh and a neat little red rotating light that goes off when you are in chance mode..
Not quite what I was expecting but not a bad little deal.

Now where can I put it.

I am in the same boat. After a week, I asked for a tracking number and she said she would get right back to me. Today I wrote again asking for my number, and she told me that she didn't have a record of them shipping my machine, but she didn't bother to explain what that meant, has it been shipped or hasn't it? I have a feeling I'm going to have to fight this for a while.
This is the second time I've had trouble with them, and I was hoping the first time was just a fluke...
