Default Are all pachinko game play the same?

As most of you know I finally took a trip over to the darkside. After playing my Fever Queen for quite some time I am starting to get ummmm, bored? I am interested in some of the newer pachinkos such as Julie, Star Wars, and Garfield... But the question I have is: With the newer ones, are they as repetive as the Fever Queen? You hit the start pocket and it plays the same music as the reels are spinning. Its gotten to the place to where I turn the volume down and listen to the radio due to the music on the Fever Queen has become quite repetive....

on Magicial Lamp, you have to press either the red or blue button when the screen tells you to.
when you get 3 matching numbers you have to get a ball in the left side start pocket in a short time limit to win the fever. it also has two jackpot pockets that open at different timre during bonus.
    its very interactive.

On We Sky, you use the big chance button to select different things, like which girl you want to meet and hopefully get a kiss without getting your face slapped it also has an entrance ramp on the left side for sending balls to the middle.

Bunny Girl has a left side entrance with two revolving turntables to send balls to the middle and into start pocket.

so, play is different on a lot of the models

    Scoobs!!??
I'm getting a little concerned - I had such high hopes for you!!

I really can't comment on Fever Queen, having never played that one......
but never in a million years would I ever get bored with any of my Pachinkos - that goes for the Music and the Playability!! Obviously the Chance Button(s) add something a little extra to Game Play and a really great Theme helps too!!

Maybe It's because I have a few to choose from, and rotate them quite often, maybe I just choose the right Pachinkos for me, or maybe I would just worship ANY Pachinko......

It could be you need another Pachinko () and if you like Good Music, then I would go for Maharaja - there's around 17 tracks on that one - and I have still to hear them all......

I hope this is a minor holdup on your quest to the Dark Side!!

I just noticed your comment :
Now I love Music so Maharaja hits the right notes for me!!
I have a yearning for Pinball - hence my obsession with Julie
Garfield is soooo funny and he just rocks anyway
Indiana Jones - has a Theme I quite like, good looking Cell and lots happening on screen
Top Gun has two chance buttony things and I really like the fact you can control a plane and blast things too!!
and last but not least Star Wars - what can I say? Awesome Theme, awesome sound and a must have for any self respecting Pachinkoholic!!

so as you can probably tell by now - Perception of what is a good and not boring Pachinko is ruled only by your own tastes............

I am more into the interactive thing. thats why I want a spin luck so bad. but anyways, just wandering if your machines played the same music over and over and over with each ball that fell into the start pocket or if it played different music and had different scenes on the lcd....

It's the age old pachi question...

Let me ask you this, don't your pachislos get repetitive also?

They are in essence gambling machines we use for game rooms. By nature they are going to be repetitive as they are designed to be played by hundreds of thousands of people to win prizes. We have adapted them for our uses and as such, they are not pure game room games.

That being said, can you tell me you've seen everything the machine has to offer? Can you tell me you've seen everything one of your pachislos has to offer?

They are becoming more interactive as we can all clearly see but they are still not a game like pinball but pinball isn't designed to be played in a casino/parlor environment. Do you like pinball machine prices? They aren't video games which also aren't designed to be played in a casino/parlor environment.

Do they have limitations? Sure they do, ever played an American slot? Want to talk to me about repetitive?

You play them because they are:

    A) The least expensive electronic/mechanical item you can buy
    B) They offer great lights and great sounds
    C) They do offer some interaction

They are the most bang for the buck you're going to get at the prices we pay for them.

If you find them boring, go buy a PS3. Take a picture of your TV set and call it your game room...

hey scoob don't feel bad dude i bought one also and fail to see the enlightenment these are like those 3-d pictures use to be ya either see it or you don't and i could never see the picture on them something about being ambidextrous and eye dominance being needed or what ever .. I think some people just see what they want to see and if that works great but ill stick with pachislo and older ones at that cause i hate to know the out come before i hit the 3rd button ......

Heck I get bored with a console game system. I only keep a PSP now cause it is portable. My game system is the PC because I can play many many games. Maybe thats the trick have many games and don't spend so much time in front of just one. My offer is still good Mike, bring it with you when you come this way if your tired of it we can work out a deal.
    Cheers,

I can't comment on a Fever Queen, but there are some machines that get repetitive quickly and some that keep you coming back for more. But the same goes for pachislos. I mean they are all basically the same. With pachislos, you spin reels, you hit the stop buttons and you try to eye shoot, hoping the system will let you win. With pachinko, you turn the shooter knob, try to hit the start pocket(s) and hope the system lets you win. Beyond that, it's the theme, gameplay, music, video, lights and how much variety they put into it, that makes or breaks a game.

I have a pachislo AND a pachinko which I consider to be way too repetitive, that I don't play much. I also have machines of both types that I don't think I'll ever get bored with. You might try selling that Fever Queen or even adding another...I'm sure you'll find one that keeps you interested.

Just don't try that technique with wives!
If you haven't grown up by age 50 ... you don't have to!
