As I get ready to possibly make another purchase from SP, I thought I would go back to this thread(I commented last year on this post while purchasing my Bond 007 from SP). While researching my options for a TOP GUN (prefer the white frame w/blue playing field) it appears SP is my best bet. SP customer service quickly responded to my question about getting a door key with my purchase(no, that's $15 extra) but no response to my 2nd question about assuring me I will recieve the white frame.(they have been known to ship other units) I had to call Curt on that. CS is hit or miss and the same said for the condition of their machines. I hope my TG arrives in good condition. I will post pics and results when it arrives. Thinking of building a free standing - roll around tower cabinet for the TG(no more wall space!)

The TG arrived quickly and was packed well. Curt also threw in a door key!! Machine was clean and in like - new condition. My only problem was a few connectors were loose for the two "play"(chance) buttons and "tray out of balls" & "service" lights.. (I posted a thread regarding these problems) I was able to self diagnose and fix them both (First Taiyo to learn about!) Even though it WAS packed well, I understand things happen. My only frustration w/SP was that Curt flat out told me when I called with this problem that the "play" buttons DO NOT light up. Still they do the best they can to provide support and available machines for a fair price. ADDED NOTE: Curt was telling me that starting June 15 - all pachinko prices were going up. SP site still has the old prices???

Curt told me over a year ago his prices where going up and maybe they will. I have bought 4 machines from Curt and you can read all about them various threads. He got really upset when the replacement machine he sent me had an issue (the first one burned out and he blamed a power surge which could NOT have happened since it was ALWAYS plugged into a surge suppressor and the suppressor was tested to be good!)... I had to remove the front loading system and grind it down so the balls would flow through to the shooting mechanism. While NOT a big deal and LOVE my Yamato machine, for a machine fully refurbished and checked out I should not have had to take it a part to fix it. That is my only gripe. He sells for great prices and most of the machines are really clean. MY Galaxy Railways machine needed some clean up and bulbs but I cleaned it up and Curt sent me the bulbs and all was good.
My Ultraman machine we great and my Eva 5 was okay. I would buy from him again but I would always figure something can go wrong. He does stand by his warren-tee of 6 months, just realize Curt is great when things are great and when there is an issue he can go down hill as it did with me that one time. All in all S-P is a place to get machines but they can run hot and cold! BUT if they have you what you want, their prices are VERY hard to beat!

Does anyone know if slot-pachinko.com is still in business? I have left phone messages and sent emails to Curt and get no response in the last week or so. I was looking to buy some cabinets and their website is no longer set up to take orders.

Same here, I called and left messages (being very clear I was looking to spend money) and had no reply at all. For all the things there are to complain about with the way he runs the business he is (was) a good dealer and I have been happy with the machines I received from him.

Thanks for posting that Frank. I didn't know Curt very well but he was a driving force for Pachinko in the US.
He will be missed.

Oh no! I was trying this past week to get a hold of him so I could arrange to pick up a machine he was holding!
I hope his wife Linda is ok... over these past few months they have hosted me at the warehouse several times and we would have hours long conversations while checking out new machines
I cant believe this... havent known them for very long,but I truly consider them friends
planning on attending the memorial tomorrow
