    Default Slot-pachinko.com?

Does anyone have any experience with this vendor? Slot-pachinko.com? I noticed some pachinko machines they had on Ebay, and went to their web site. Prices seemed reasonable, also had some pachislo machines (including a Las Vegas for $279, about a hundred less than Ebay here lately). I really don't want to be the guinea pig here, but was eyeing their Pink Panther and Horror Mansion pachinkos.

I have bought 10 pachinko machines from them. They are reliable, ship quickly and will usually ship a fairly clean machine in good working order.

Game descriptions are glitzy and often exaggerate things a bit, so do your research here for a second opinion on what other people think of a particular game's "fun factor".

I also purchased two machines from them. I received what I paid for. And they stood behind there product when there was a problem. I would buy from them again. But it seemed to me, that their prices were higher than everyones.

I bought one machine from them and was very happy with it. As John said, their prices are a bit higher than others, i.e. their starting bids tend to be higher, but they were even HIGHER several months ago. They've since come down a little.
They ship quickly and do a nice job packing. I haven't looked at one of their auctions lately, but when I bought mine, they also had reasonable shipping charges (as opposed to the $89 that others go for).
Their ads are a bit overstated, but I have to admit, they do a nice job "selling" their product. They give a lot of detail in how to play in the ad itself, more so than most ebay vendors.

My pachinko came clean and fully working.

    Negatives are:

They put feet on pachinkos which isn't in and of itself a bad thing. However I put mine in cabinets and eventually had to take the feet off. They use big ass staples to mount them, and a LOT of them too. It was impossible to remove them without completely destroying the bottom of the frame. I had to replace the entire bottom piece.

I haven't had a single problem with the machine itself, but the ball tray they sent along with it got broken during shipment. I mentioned this in an email to them, but they never replaced it or responded. It wasn't a big deal since I didn't expect to get one in the first place and it was one of those cheesy shallow plastic "baskets" anyway. I never pushed them for it. Other vendors I've dealt with have always responded immediately whenever I've mentioned any problem, no matter how trivial.

I purchased my first pachinko from them. It arrived clean and safe and has worked just fine from day one.

Personally I don't care for their front man as the BS they regurgitate sometimes is quite deep. If the price were what I wanted to pay and they were the only one's offering the machine, I wouldn't let the BS factor in too heavily in the decision. As long as you check here first for the reality to offset the BS, you'll get what you pay for.

I tried to order the las vegas last week. Got an email that said they had no skill stops in stock due to higher than expected sales. I would call them to confirm stock before placing any orders.

    Good luck.

I had a good experence with them on a Pachislo (years ago) and Pachinko. They have great descriptions of the games on e-bay. Curiously their web sites out of date. My pachislo experence with them was a long time ago and their site has only been updated a few times since then. They were one of the first on the net and were the cheapest. They have been around for a while so they must be going something right. They do seem to pack them well and stand behind their warrantee.

On the Pink Panther, it is a great well built machine (nice chrome) never a jam or even a coin return. Not even a bulb out in 8 years. Had to have the hopper replaced when I bought it. It only plays pink panther music inside the bonus rounds, while the reels are spinning and when they stop sounds like a 80's vegas machine (wife likes) the other music is generic. I've heard the return of the pink panther is a bit better on the music.

I just bought my first pachinko, Indiana Jones from them. I found out about the Indy machine from their ebay auction. I researched their website before I bought it and noticed it was $289 on ebay, but only $249 on their website. I ordered it late Thursday night and the machine arrived on Tuesday in excellent shape. Their ball tray was a rip, it's a $1 plastic nuts/bolts bin.

I have ordered 5 machines from them and all have been in prefect shape! I picked them up since they are only 15 miles from me. But Curt the Owner seems genuine and will stand behind his product. He also seems to bend over backwards if your a high volume buyer like myself. 5 machines in less then a month! I had the same thing occur to me on e-bay it was listed for the Star Wars at 289.00 and on his website it was listed as 399.00. I did get the ebay one for 289.00 which pays to shop around a bit for the bargains. He also has the very latest in machines (Pachinko) his pachislo's are a bit outdated. But overall I would say its a great business, and like someone said he wouldnt still be in business since 1999 if he wasn't doing something right. I have been to their warehouse and I must say first class operation. Tons of machine's were going out, so he must do alot of business.

I purchased my Julie the Pinball from them. They do a great packing job - not even UPS could destroy more than the box. There was a part missing from the back (the ball stop), which I assume they remove intentionally though they deny it. They sent the part in the mail free of charge the next day. Now THAT's customer service!

LOL about the staple job from hell... Yeah, those feet will stay on there and probably survive an earthquake, but when you want to get them off to install the machine in a cabinet, expect to work hard at it. I destoryed the wood feet to get the staples out, using a hammer on a large screwdriver to get under the staples. Thankfully I get most of my machines from Hiro, who uses screws instead of staples.

My only gripe is I wish they didn't use the yellow paint to mark all the parts on the back. Again, I know why they do it - it makes phone support easier I suppose, but it still bugs me. Someday I'll get around to scraping it off...

I've bought two machines from them. Star Wars, and Indian Jones. Both came in fine condition. They don't clean through out the machine...deffinately not Arby-ized, but still pretty clean. I needed to clean all the tracks after reciving each machine.
The machines themselves play great...No problems. The Indiana Jones came with 5 dead bulbs in the frame (the kind with blue and red "Rubber" on them. I e-mailed them, and they called me back to find out how many I needed. In less than a week, I got all good bulbs with bases.
As stated before, there price can be somewhat higher than most, but I would still buy from them.

*****Keep an eye out on there pricing, it fluctuates with what's "HOT" at the time. I bought My Indy for a lot less than it going now, all because of the new movie that is out****

I'm pretty sure it is safe to buy from them, but don't expect much. I bought my Horror Mansion from them, it was filthy. And the packing was not that great. It only had to go about 300 miles so it arrived in fair shape. Would I buy from them again?

    Thumbs up Re: Slot-pachinko.com?

I just got my Star Wars pachinko machine a few weeks ago. If you are interested, I just loaded an album of photos of what the unit looks like packed. Look for my album "My slot-pachinko experience". In short, the unit looks great, for being used. I will say however, I was a little put-off by e-mail replies. They did reply very quickly, sometimes within the same hour, but could have been just a little more "customer-friendly"...but it could have just been me. When I ordered the pachinko display case they sell, he was awesome when he refunded my money because they were waiting for a new shipment. When he gave the new date to order, I ordered. My experience was a great one, and I would definately buy another one from slot-pachinko.com. Just make sure you check the balls packed with it.
