    Default Regal formerly at Gaku's

Ok, I know I'm totally late on noticing this, but Gaku had a Regal at one point:

That was my first baby. I still have it, too. I've modded it up a bit with different lights. It made it prettier with different colors and I switched to LED bulbs because they were brighter and a LOT cooler to run. During a bonus round the lenses would actually get hot which was freaking me out.

I even have a pink cold cathode for it. I used to use it for the reel lights, but people kept making rude comments about a pink light....

Anyway, people used to always say they had never seen that machine so I had to point it out. :-)

Lit up, I always thought that was a great looking machine!

I really like it's appearance. Very clean and colorful. And I actually really like the sounds. They're simple as well, but there is tons of music in there. Depending on how you get into the bonus games the music is different. And it's oddly catchy tunes.

I think another thing that speaks to me is the way the sound is handled. There is sound nearly all the time. You know how some machines are very stingy with their sound, only playing something once in a blue moon. The Regal pops up with sound effects probably every other spin (other than the reel start / stop noises of course).

For anyone who likes a simple, clean way to play, it's really a great machine. And it's flashy in the old fashion way with the colors blaring out from the white backgrounds.

It sounds like I'm in love doesn't it? lol
