Lightbulb Ocean Cup by Olympia ?

I'm looking for some info on this machine. I could not find anything in the museum.
I think that it might be an older model.
The one site that I found it on said that it had an LCD screen. I think that that is wrong.:bs2:
They wanted $650 and would ship from Japan.
One sold on ePay last August for $42
I was wondering if anyone had one of these and could answer some questions.
    1. 25mm Tokens?
    2. 1,2,3 tokens to play?
    3. When was it made?
    4. What are some of the features?
    5. Does it have a LCD screen?
It has pictures of sailboats on the belly glass and to the right of the reels.

I thought that at first but the tax stamps on the belly glass made me look harder.

easy enough to cut around a tax stamp to make it look legit i would if i was making a custome to keep the authenticity

Looking at the size and style of the stop buttons, I'd say this is easily 98 or before model.

It is a late 90's machine. We had them about 7 years ago. If you find them now, they take a ton of work to get them refurbished. There are much better quality machines out there IMHO....

Thank You very much for the info.
It is just that the theme would make it a great vintage to add to my collection.
I just wanted to get the word out that I'm interested in one. I see that one of the people that might come across one knows ....so I'm very happy.

Sorry to answer so late, but I just joined and saw your message.
I've owned my Ocean Cup since 1999. Bought it from an east coast company for $245 I believe the machine was made around 1997.

There is no LCD screen; the machine can take up to 3 tokens/five line play.
It's a nice looking unit with an attractive sailing theme. I'm a pro mariner/sailor, and have two pinball games with nautical themes too.

There's an amusing slogan on the front: "We declare we do our best in any occasion with indomitable racing spirits."

    I've nicknamed the unit 'WeDeclare.'

    Hope that helps.

$645 sounds like a very steep price, but I remember the year I got mine losing an Ebay auction to somebody willing to pay $375 for that item.
