That was great, Trout! We had a clump of bees like that out at our lake house a couple summers ago. Luckily they moved on.

They did not go to Home Depot because they did not want to spend any money!?!?! Gas and paint thinner cost more than bee killer would have. And noe they have to replace a swing set. They are nuts!

too bad the flaming swarm didn't land on his head or on the roof of his house...

That swarm probably would have moved on. I called some expert over at the DNR when I had the bees like that and they said to ignore it and it would move on in a day or so. 8 hours later, it was gone.

Not only did these bozos kill 10,000 bees which pollanate our crops and make honey, they also released all kinds of pollutants into the air.

Too bad no one called the fire dept or police!!!!!!

Most bee's stingers detach and lodge in 'victim' when they sting, it is a one shot and they die, so they are not quick to sting, like a wasp or hornet is. The muscle around the venom sack will continue to pump venom after the stinger and venom sack is separated from the bee. They are valuable to orchard crops for pollination.
I would not want them in the house either but sealing the hole in the house should have been step one, step two is ignore the bees. I am very surprised the smoke did not move the bees, bee keepers pump smoke to move bees off of the honey combs.
