sounds like an up hill fight to me since these machine do employ a random number generator your gonna have a hard time winning it . lets just say that the machine has determined if you will lose by the time you hit the first reel stop this is evident on some models with video sequences like the hanabi after the first reel is stopped don chan's match blows out and he shrugs
denoting that you lost and you haven't even hit the second reel yet . as for proof from a manufacturer i think you'll need to do some research but you'll need someone who reads Japanese to do it ........

heres a url that will lead you to some quote experts that have testified on the matter before and might be able to help your case .

well I have played pinball before.. and out of nowhere the ball will drain.. magnets I think... same with chucky cheese.. if you have ever seen the machine.. its a big circle with led lights and it spins around a track and you try to stop it on the jackpot square... this is regulated.. if not.. someone could just hit it over and over again.. same with pachislo.. how would it be if someone so good could hit 777 everytime... even if it was 100% skill and you had all the proof.. it would still be regulated and prevent someone for draining every machine dry.

you could argue that your tokens have no value, so you aren't winning anything.

You don't keep the tokens that come out, you dump them back in the hopper.

oh.. and by the way... the machines they took are the ones in my photo... death valley was my 12 year old daughters machine.. the king camel was mine.. we would start out with the same amount of tokens and see who would have the most after 15 minutes.. it was a fun game to play... not anymore :^(

I really like the fact that GAKU calls it a skill to be able to eyeshoot. Don't ignore this. Contact him and get your case going. If you could open up California to all the Pachislo dealers I am sure they would be gratefull

So maybe a new poll question should be :

is eyeshooting successfully a skill or is it luck?

    I vote : SKILL

Hmmm is that where the words Skill Slot came from...........

How is it skill Lew? You can't hit the third reel symbol your shooting at 1 out of 100 times. Remember the happy little Japanese law that allows the reels to slip up to four positions? They will land on what the machine wants them to land on regardless of how well you think you eye shoot.

That REALLY sucks! Get out of that state. I did a long while back -- and have never gone back. You'll save on housing, taxes, and all the crazy laws. You'll be happier in the end.

I am going by what GAKU states :

    http://www.gaktradinginc.com/05pachi...yeshooting.htm

and what others here have proven. You have seen the statements that people here can stop the reels where they want..

I agree with Tulsa... Not sure how much skill is really involved.

its the reel slippage thats going to sink your case .if you read the pdf i left the URL for you'll see the criteria they implemented to determine if they were gambling devices . before i hear a rash of comments about this being 8-liner video machines not pachislo ...... the 8 liner is really a computer simulation of a slot machine operating with a random number generator same as your machine .yes it does use a video screen and yours uses reels but don't fool yourself those reels are nothing more than a dumb terminal displaying what the computer processor tells it to nothing more .the fact that reels don't stop immediately is one of the determining factors and will probably be the smoking gun in this case unfortunately.

    This whole conversation is interesting.

As TULSA points out there is supposed to be a law in Japan that states that the reels can be programmed to slip 4 spaces. This is something we also have to consider and I didn't think about. If the people that you are fighting over this can prove this is a law in Japan = then you will lose this battle.

The question I have is do we have written proof that that law exists in Japan?

This will be a good thread to reference back to whenever some member here thinks they can fight this again.

It is what it is Lew. It's really not open for debate. The reels slip so the machine can land on what it determines it's going to land on. There is no skill.
