    Default Julie arrived DOA

Just arrived, unpacked it, plugged it in, nothing, took a look at the back didnt see any loose connections, nothing looks disconnected, there is a I assume a ground wire, its the second screw down on the right of the hopper, about the middle, its a green wire that dangles down to nowhere... I looked on the back of my star wars and that wire is internal, I looked at my indie, and its snipped off, but works.. I tried to take a pic but its too dark to come out.
So im hoping its that and not somthing more serious.
It looks so sad all dark and lonely.

First step after visually looking at all the connections is to push and wiggle and tighten them in their sockets. It almost always is a connector problem with DOAs. Any reputable shipper would have made sure it was working when it left them.

You likely will be up and playing soon.

Please don't flame me, but they do ship them with the power switch (which is not so obvious) off (unlike some other vendors), I'm assuming it's not that.

I know it sounds simple, but is the power switch on?

Ive pushed pulled and tugged on all wires, nothing seems out of place other then that stray green ground wire. And there is no power switch that I see.

There is a power switch on the bottom, left side of the machine. is that on? If so, there are fuses there also..do any of them look to be blown?

The machine doesn't need grounded to see if it operates.
Just plug the transformer in... it will be enough.
(And we wait for the answer to the switch question... cuz' we have been there before )

Just to clarify...if your looking at the back of the machine...look to the left side towards the bottom for the switch. There will be a main power switch (rocker style usually with a white dot on it) and a smaller buttom below for resetting the machine.
