Default SW with case and an IJ cell without case

I can buy a Star Wars with case and an Indiana Jones cell without case.

Is it possible to swap the Star Wars and the Indiana Jones?
Does the Indiana Jones work 100%, sound, game play? Or do I need a special case for the Indiana Jones?

I am sure the experts will kick in with a reply soon, but I think I am right in saying that as long as the Star Wars is in a Lumina case then the Indy will fit in it.

That is what I have just done, I have had a Stars Wars in a Lumina cabinet from about 18 months & have just bought an Indy cell it fit in it. It is the way to go & easy to swap them over.

yep definatly will fit and an easy swap the only "got ya" i have found so far is the Julie cell but it will fit you just have to make sure you get the main bord that julie needs as it is seperate to the cell and wont run at all without it
My rice krispies told me to do it

Because of the play feild on the Julie one of it's boards needs to be hung outside the breen frame in back.

This is the same with CRF Yoon Sona machine

I run my Star Wars, Julie, Indiana Jones and many others from the same case.

Excuse the ignorant question, but what are the advantages of swapping the cells? It seems horribly inconvenient as opposed to having multiple units. Is it a space issue? Are the cells by themselves exponentially cheaper?

I've found that "relatively speaking" pachinko machines are pretty cheap overall. I mean are the cells REALLY cheap?

I mean my Star Wars one was over $200 but most machines I see are under $200 and for what they are I'm shocked they are so cheap. In fact I've found ball lifters to be puzzlingly expensive (when you find them) compared to complete pachinko machines.

granted cells are on the high side compared to machines, but, what are your space requirements/ i have complete machines, but i also have the room for them. many have space for 1 or 2 machines only.

Also, up until recently, the only way to get the newest games here at a reasonable price (whole machine 300+, cel by sloboat 65) was by getting cels, after you got at least one case, of course. Prices here are really dropping, and they keep bringing over more and more!

Wish they would bring more ball lifters over so the prices would drop on those too.

I don't think any palours use those anymore, its all intergrated into a huge ball feeding system mounted above the machines.

since there is a shortage of room in japan, most of them must have been trashed, so the supply is limited.

Hearing that is as bad as watching that video clip of the pachinkos being trashed, that someone posted a while back.
