That looks good, but I find it interesting that the battle counter in the first pic is kind of an old unit (also made by Heiwa). Wish I had the pachinko version.

The case or the counter? I saw a flurry a little while back, then nothing. Was lucky enough to get the manual and the remote! All I have are pachislo.

The remote is for resetting the counters and setting the date (if the unit is so equipped). Most basic counters only save info for the last 2 days, so if the unit is left on for 48 hours, all counts should be '0'. The LCD units have a few other settings, still getting the manual translated.

Like I said, the Carnivals are simpler units, only save information for 48 hours. I don't think the clock runs if it's unpowered, have to stock a couple of bonuses, unplug it and see if it's still there a couple of days later. Otherwise, plug them in and wait 24 hours and see if the days bonus moves to yesterdays bonus. Does your maual have any connection information? From what I've seen on some of my machines, 3,4,5 or 4,5,6 are the connections (because those plugs are missing from the cels).

I think its a nice looking machine but the pins and balls seem to be secondary
element and almost there just for nostalgic reasons. I rather have smaller screens with more pins and ball action!

Heiwa's sound systems have always been excellent compared to the competition...and now they've improved that. I can't wait to see how they'll use the 20" screen...the Aruze/Mizuho games never IMO truly integrated the screen into the physical gameplay, something that if done would make a fascinating alternative to Arrepachi and/or Kenri approaches...if the Japanese laws will allow it...

DaStooge nailed it on this one.

Heiwa now has a special area for their incredible SS Pachinko Style :

    http://www.heiwa-ss.jp/

Be sure to go thru the entire demo clicking on every url you can get, as this is something to behold

Also be sure to check out this frame in action on their webpages :

    http://www.inoki-ss.jp/ (Japan Pro Wrestling)

    and

    http://www.heiwanet.co.jp/latest/ken...wai_enter.html (Hawaii)

The hawaii pachinko also has a real nice movie of it in action ....just click on the RED PV

The future is certainly looking bright for us collectors if we can get these into the states......

The Hawaii one looks like the Hanna Barbera wacky racers/Laugh-alympics in Hawaii.

It is going to be way cool if it is done right. Shipping these things might be a pain if the faces with the pins are glass and not plexi.

Yes it is muttley, if done right, they will have one that will be dissapearing to america a lot, and one will come to the netherlands. (when possible).
When watching the small movie, it seems the display is more into the game then the ones ever before.
Watch closely and you see a yellow ball on the display acting like a normal ball.
I wonder how long it will take before we can get our hands on them...
