Another Woot Off!

I got through the ordering process for the 2nd and 3rd offerings. Heck, I even was able to go back to the main Woot page and it still didn't show Sold Out yet.

Then, when the 4th and final offering came up, it told me that I had already ordered the item... Lo and behold, no BOC for me this time. None of my orders made it through because of server glitches with the first several offerings actually allowing more sales that BOC's available. And then the system still flagged my account as buying the BOC earlier in the day, when I hadn't actually gotten it, and so I was blocked from the final offering.

This all happened to another guy at work, as well as a friend of mine and his wife (separate accounts)... So for the last BOC, it actually paid to be slow on the earlier offerings as then your account would have allowed you to get the last offering.


Now, just remember, the waiting and wondering about the BOC is the best part of the BOC. Most likely you will get junk that you don't need/want, but heck, it only cost ya $8 for some excitement.

So has anyone actually heard about someone cousins friends brother who lives next door to a guy who once met a guy who had gotten a new 1000" TV from a boc or is it just marketing hype on their website to get people to move things along in hopes of getting the elusive boc

Someone did actually really get a 61" flat panel TV, but that was a few years ago, and since then some of the more common "big" items have been $150 Roomba vacuums.

I missed out on the BOC again. I got to the processing screen then the server went unavailable. I refreshed and it was too late."There is a problem, Item sold out". Well at least I made that far. I did get 3 mini kites, thats just as good , right?

They offered a pair of Athena tower speakers yesterday, new for $219 for the pair that sells everywhere else for $600 for the pair. I almost clicked on the buy it icon but at the last minute I remembered my tower speakers are just fine.

I got my confirmation last evening for my 3 B.O.C. order. This will be my 8th set of B.O.C. but I don't know WHY I keep getting it. Almost always it is actually pretty lame stuff, so I think that you did much better with the 3 mini-kites. They were cheap, and you know that you can use them. For me, I'll probably end up with yet camera bag, and then some useless cable and a kid's pencil set. Oh well, we'll see in a couple of weeks when it gets here...

Here's my BOC from the last woot off. I got six FM radios that look like MP3 players, a couple bluetooth ear thingies, A bag for a wine bottle, headphones for MP3 player, and some red plastic something or other??

Its a serving dish for hot wings. The bones go in the middle. I got one, too. They must not have been able to sell very many.

You could also put it inside a round baking dish, fill it with kool-aid, put it in the freezer and make the kids some cool looking popsicles.
