Another Woot Off!

I was luckey during this Wootoff. I was able to get 3 BOCs.

They still have not arrived but I can't wait to see what I get.

I also have to stay away from Woot, I spent like $250 waiting for the BOC to come up.

Did they have the BOC this woot off? I kept checking the blog and didn't see it.

The BOC came up a few items before the woot off was over. I've gotten 7 sets of BOC in the past, trust me... The waiting is all the fun. You will get pretty much exactly what it says. A bag (backpack, camera bag, etc) and a bunch of crap. It is still somehow fun and exciting waiting for it to show up just to see what kind of "crap" you get... Let us know what you end up getting. Oh, and while Woot has gotten better about speed of shipping, BOCs are about the last thing that they ship out and it does not get shipped quickly. I used to have the "official" FAQ on the BOC and the shipping which people would reference during every BOC discussion, and then they switched to SmartPost, and I never went back and updated it.

I love reading the posts during the woot offs. Everyone seems to just buy stuff to get to the BOCs.

I'll admit that I did the same on a few items.

It is when they take all the crap that they have and sell it as fast as possible. This creates a feeding freenzy which induces people to by crap that they never would any other time.

I actually wanted to buy something earlier today from woot, but by the time I started researching it just to make sure it was a good value (and it was), they were sold out. Of course, they only had 11 of them (GPS for my car that was new, not refurb, that sells normally for $295 at places like Amazon and such, and woot had it for $119)... Oh well. Maybe I'll get my 9 set of BOC.

Shannon looked thoughtfully at her mother, brushing her single long bang away from her eyes as she took a bite of her Bologna on Ciabatta.
“Mom, tell me about the 80’s some more!”
Shannon’s mom put down the Bowl of Cilantro she’d been holding and sat at the table beside her daughter.
“Well, sweetie, it was a lot like it was today. We’d dress in designer clothes and go out to Billions of Clubs, we’d listen to Bands of Current stars, like Bananarama, omd, Cameo… oh, I could talk about it forever. Is there anything specific you’d like to know?”
Shannon ran her long painted fingernails through the fur of the Big orange Cat in her lap and sighed.
“No, Mom, it’s just that I was talking to my friend, Betsy o’Connor, and she said how sad it was that we weren’t alive back then. Everything was so amazing, wasn’t it? Everything had to be the most, or the best, or the Biggest of Creation!”
Shannon’s mom laughed.
“Honey, when I was your age everyone wished they’d been alive in the Fifties.”
Shannon looked up with wide Blue on Cerulean eyes.
“Really, mom?”
“Really. Stuff like Billy ocean Came on and we’d Be over Crying about how the Best of Culture was all in the past. We weren’t so different from you. Maybe one day you’ll have a daughter who will Be obsessed Considering the things you’re taking for granted.”
Shannon Balanced on Careful heels and kissed her mother on her Blushingly offered Cheek.
“You’re so great, Mom!”
Shannon’s mom smiled.
“I know, sweetie. Hey, why don’t we heat up that Broccoli onion Casserole for dinner?”
“That’s my favorite!”
“Mine too, sweetie. Mine too.”
