Just like the last one, only this one had boc. They've been blazingly fast lately. Maybe they lost a lot of the junk on the move to the new digs.

Ended a day earlier than usual. The 4500 Bags of Crap sold out in just around 1 minute! YIKES!

Oh well, it is just crap. I know because I've gotten enough of it from w00t with very little to show for it.

I just got my boc from the last woot off and another one is going on. This is the second time I won the boc. The last time wasn't bad but this one was unbelievable. I got:
1 back pack - heavy duty, worth at least $20
1 serving dish for wings - no use to me
1 set of chinese character swizzle sticks
1 I-robot rumba robotic vaccuum system. wow

I feel like I hit the jackpot this time. Not bad for a $8 investment.

Another Woot Off started last night.

I've gotten 8 "sets" of BOC and so far most are exactly that, crap... The best part is the waiting and anticipation. Kind of like playing the lottery. You know that you are going to lose, but it is fun waiting to see what you get.

I hear a lot about the BOC, but never seen one in action. Is there a certain time/date that they sell the BOC? I would like to buy a BOC.

It used to be that about 3:30 PM Central time on the 2nd day of a Woot Off was the time it came up. I only know this because a friend of mine leaves work at 3:25 PM (does a Ride-Share program, so he can't wait) and used to miss it all of the time. The last one was around 5:30 PM Central Time. I know, because I was on my way home when it came up. It used to be that a Woot Off lasted less than 1 day, and then it went to a full 2 days, but the last one was back to less than 1 full day, so it could be later today, but if it isn't, look for it tomorrow afternoon. Nobody knows (outside of the Woot folks) when it is going to come up for sure, but those are my experiences.

A Christmas WOOT-OFF has started!

I still remember last year's Bag Of Crap on Christmas Eve. Now THAT was a Merry Crapmas... I didn't even look last night (midnight in Iowa) and when I checked this morning, they had gone through a LOT of items. I'd say more than most previous Woot-Offs' first 8 hours.

so far I got the scan disk 4 gig media player and 3 $1.99 power diver tool sets.

We got my daughter that same Sansa MP3 player last year for Christmas. It was a good deal then at $180 from Best Buy, and Woot's price was what, $50 or something? Sure, yours will be refurb, but it will still be good. She uses her's every day and has no problems with it.

I got my wife an alarm clock docking station for her ipod. Looks pretty slick.

I bought 3 wizards. I'm not really sure why. I listed one on e-bay already.

Big discussions in the "wizard" comments about how all of these people are complaining. So on page 23 of their comments, I basically told the whiners to go away. LOL. We'll see how fired up the complainers will get.

There was one thing that I was hoping for before the w00t-off started (SlingBox AV) and they actually had it on there. But they only had 3 and I didn't get one! I also missed the BOC by about 1 minute. They had a $5 web cam come up, but I needed to run my youngest daughter to a friend's house about a block away. We went quick, but I got back and it was sold out... Oh well, I had so much "crap" from previous BOC's that I gave all of the left over "crap" to a friend yesterday who has never gotten the BOC before. (He missed it last night as well.)
