It depends, Stealth has pretty good discounts for scratch and dents.
Maybe that will give you an idea.

Some other vendors might not give any discount at all.
I would say IMHO $50 to $100 off a $300 for Heavy scratched chrome is about right.

If it is too ugly then ask yourself how much is an ugly machine worth? Is it worth having?
