Is Big Tex Gaming irreputable or just unethical?

I ordered 2 popeye's from Big Tex on 11/17/06. Paid in full. Received order confirmation number 11/17. Well, Big Tex called me on 11/20, saying they could only send 1 popeye to me, and would credit me the difference. Okay. Well, I now check with their website and it say's that my order confirmation number is invalid. Hmmmm. Two weeks have gone by now, without email shipping info., no machine, but they do have my money. Question: Does anyone know if this is S.O.P. for Big Tex? I will never buy nor recommend them to anyone.....

Good Question. No, I haven't spoke to them since 11/21. That will be number 1 priority in the a.m. Am really upset that EVERYONE but Big Tex can communicate shipping info and process orders timely.... Fully anticipate no popeye at this stage.....

Best advice is to get all your money back and deal with a reputable vendor.

Communication with the vendor is key, let them know your concerns, it is their job to make you happy with this transaction.

Is this a purchase from fleabay or direct? Do you have a link to either their site or the sale?

When I spoke with them on 11/20, they said my machine was ready for shipment the next day. Then nothing... Perhaps there is a reasonable explanation for this...

The problem with dealing with them is that Pachislos are only a sideline.

Vendors like Milt and Gaku make their living on them. so, are more conserned with the customers.

their slots are listed under gaming accessories I hope you don't have technical issues or packing and shipping issues as well as LuckyDog stated they are not focused on slot sales. Maybe they will do it right but maybe they are just drop shippers from another vendor? Their prices are a bit high as well.

I finally got to speak with Big Tex. They said the machine was sent on 11/21 and DHL was the shipper. Big Tex was contacting the shipper this P.M. and will have my answer tomorrow, hopefully. Perhaps DHL delivered to the wrong address??

At any rate, I thank all of you here at Pachitalk for your great suggestions! I will use all your input from this point onward.

I really don't think B.T. is unethical. And Ron at B.T. was genuinely concerned and helpful when we spoke this P.M. He wants this resolved, too.

I hope I get to eat some humble pie on this, and will eat two helpings if I finally do get popeye!

Did they give you a DHL waybill number??
That's what DHL uses for tracking.
If not, call them back and ask for it... then find it on their site.

I had a DHL delivery I was expecting it for Christmas it never showed up I finnally traqcked down a number and called th local distrution center and it was there they would not drive their truck down my driveway. They were waiting for the snow to melt. this was an air compressor, I could not wait for spring so I met them at the end on my driveway and took it down the driveway myself.
