still no cherry or other small do you think it's for show?

it seems to tease abit if only playing 1 or 2 credits
it will hit 3 bells on the third line that type of thing
but no payout of the smalls

I checked out his machine it is an old one, no backlight behind the reels. It is not a max bet machine, thats sorta rare these days. If he bet one it would show a cherry. What a tease. Metz has the addiction, buying machines, reading Pachitalk till we hours of the night.

Well, I gotta say that I've never heard of a machine ignoring the small prizes for three years and lots of play during that time, Metz.
I guess nobody else has, either.

My only suggestion to you would be to replace the CPU and try again, OR get a different machine.
I suppose it's possible (but a longshot) that your CPU had the roms swapped for something else, by the pachi underworld.

So... next step would be replace the CPU board, if you can find one... and if you want to go to that expense.

Let us know how that works out, if you do it.
If not, we'll go ahead and close the ticket.

It is not a max bet machine he can bet a single credit it will then almost hit a cherry, I saw it happen. the cherry was in the pay line 2 and he only played 1. So it will land in the zone just not when a bet is placed on that line.

why trash it?? just because you dont know whats wrong doesn't mean it can't be fix and I never said it hits the smalls

Who says its got anything wrong with it ?.He's trying to tell you the machine is acting as programmed by the manufacturer . it makes no sense that a machine would be programmed by a third party not to pay out small prizes . if any thing they'd block the large prizes and pay more small .so its either get rid of the machine or except it for what it is .....if it only pays out large pots and eats tokens between large pots its got to be one boring machine .......but its your boring machine .....
