Pachinko in movie sighting: Shinji Aoyama's Wild Life
I've been watching tons of movies, thanks to my moving around a lot and my obsession with yakuza movies. Anyway, I watched Wild Life recently and there are a few scenes with pachinko machines and, in fact, the protagonist is a kugishi or pin adjuster/bender in a pachinko parlor. Unfortunately, we never get to see him at work and, even worse, the movie is pretty much a disappointment, especially considering the director has done much better (Eli, Eli, Lema Sabachthani? and Eureka, are two of them).
