Is Spin Luck Worth $650 Shipped With No Tokens?

That seems to be the machine with the highest demand. The price is good if you are willing to pay it. There have been members here that have payed more, have payed less and have payed just about the same. I would not let the tokens be the dealbreaker. If you do not take it, I am sure someone will jump on it.

the way to look at it is a machine is worth what some one will pay for it and looking at what the rest of the members have payed or the lengths they have gone to may give you a clue
the machine has fetched as little as $250 some have payed up to $1000 others have taken long road trips to ensure its safe delivery and cut out the couriers

Personaly i refuse to pay more than the £350 that it was origonaly on sale for in the UK befor the prices rocketed to £600+ i would love the machine just not a those prices

personally i agree with doc for that price you could get 4 machines from gaku delivered with plenty of tokens for each . basically these are all the same machine with bells and whistles added to get your attention to play them .The spin luck happens to be the one with the most glitz and people like glitz . if you want to put all your eggs in one basket go for it but I'd rather have a bunch of Chevy's rather than one Cadillac (Chevy with a nice interior and premium paint job) its purely a personal preference as to what you like and are willing to pay sort of like the ps3 if your willing to wait in line and pay 4 to 5 times the value for a machine thats last listing when it left japan was electronic salvage go for it .

$650 = £335ish - so based on that, the good Dr would buy! Unlike the PS3, it's unlikely that the price of a Spin Luck will drop dramatically. But as Jeff said, would you prefer to have one rare, sort after machine, or four machines giving you more variety?

Since you already have a few machines for variation I say go for it!
If you were new to Pachis and didnt have any machines and the choice was between 1 Sl and 4 other models I think I would have gone with 4 other models.

thats a pretty good assumption if you want to assume it to be so . another machine draws the attention of the crowd and it'll be worth as much as an old Nintendo .....look at all the vintage pachislo out there you can buy them up a dime a dozen because they don't have a video screen .I'm sure one of those was the "spin-luck" of its time also .I sincerely doubt you'll be able to get what you paid for it in 10 yrs . these aren't investment items there amusement machines and you should buy them as such if you think you'll get as much enjoyment out of that machine buy it ....if your family would get more enjoyment out of 4 different machines buy them its totally up to you and your families preferences

The SL was a flop in Japan, that is why it is rare. I like mine I got a good deal, but I stole mine off the back of a truck that was still moving.
