If it goes with your stand or furniture it would look good. I however prefer a darker look to the machine case.

I agree... if you have light wood furniture, it would go great. I prefer darker, less contrast. What can I say, I like black. I'd be curious to see one in Cherry Wood if you are experimenting...

Excellent Job!
However I prefer the Black but I suppose it would depend on the machine and room furnishings.
The Ash would be better suited on Yelow,Gold or Green machines.
Black could go with any machine.

I used the black on mine as well. I have all black stands, so black just made sense but I like the look of the ash. It would just be ugly in my home.

Very nice job! Like several others I think I prefer black. BUT, by the same token, I have one like that that I got from Arby. At least I think it's ash. And while it looks good, I never notice it isn't black! It's on the Club Rodeo.

Looks good your a handy lass aren't you. I like Ash 1st cousin to Oak in the wood family. Since this is a laminate it is only a thrice removed step cousin.
The lighter color is a nice looking customization. I did a beat up metal file cabinet back in my poor college days (I had no tools!). the change is amazing.

Wow, very nice Job, looks very smooth, no bubbles or anything, however I like the black only because of my game room atmosphere it is so bright so I like as much as possible in the room to be dark it keeps the feel for me goin, but hey thats an opinion, very nice job though !!
