NOVUS cleaner/polish on chrome door

Hello,

Can the NOVUS cleaner/polish be used on the chrome doors of the pachislo. I have a could of machines that have a gold tint and would like to clean and remove some dirt and scratches from them.

I dont think its a good idea on the chrome I think it would only cloud it. I admit I havent tried a polish like that on plastic chrome so its just an educated GUESS. Use WD40 to get the dirt out. For the scratches I guess you can try a small test sample with the Novus on a part of the chrome that is hidden from view first just to see what it will do.

I used Novus #2 on chromed plastic and the results were good.... so good that there is no more chrome in one spot

I have never had a problem with a light use of #2 Novus... EXCEPT on gold chrome. That stuff WILL come off.

I like to use the Novus system on normal plastics, but I also use a product called "Scratch Out" by Kit on the chrome. You can find it in a yellow bottle in the automotive wax section of a department store. It's very close to the characteristics of Novus #2, but doesn't have the expensive price tag.
It's never caused me any problems.
