    Default Shipping overseas

    Hello Everybody!

I have a question about shipping overseas. A couple of our fellow Pachitalkers are interested in my Token Cups, many from the UK.
Has anybody tried shipping overseas, I've looked on the USPS website
and just got confused. I've also asked questions at my local post office, they just rush me through with a short comment. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Devon

just got to international shipping on USPS web site, select for US to UK and weight of package, it will give you all the rates.

you will need a customs form from the post office to fill out for the package.

I've shipped Ebay packages out of the states and it's really not a problem except for extra time filling out customs form.

They don't allow insurance to some countries or charge high rates for insurance.

An example is shipping a small package to Canada they want 20.00 with insurance and a few dollars without it.

all the uk members should put a order together then there would be only i shipping cost from usa to uk then the person who got the delievery from the usa could spilt it up in to the orders for the uk members and send it to them the uk members who placed a order can pay for there own uk to uk shipping plus part cost of shiping from usa to uk and the cups they order it could all be done with paypal and emails what do you think???

I for one don't mind paying to ship directly to me.........

Don't forget you have to take into account the Double Handing!!

Someone also has to unpack and redistribute the Cups - More Packaging, Paperwork and trust of the Postal Service and I doubt whether there would be a significant enough saving to make this worthwhile.......

of course I may be wrong..........

I recently shipped an item to Doc. It was a bit pricey because the item was a little heavy, but there were no problems at all. I did have to fill out a simple customs form. The only real issue I had was having to re-box it. I just wanted to send it to him as I had received it, but it was in a domestic postal box and that could not be shipped overseas. All in all, I would do it again. No problem

Shipping to UK no problem regualr air mail takes about a week or so from California. I never use surface as it takes too long to arrive. If the item is under 4 pounds you can send Air Mail Letter Post insurance is not available and the rates are not too bad. If you require insurance you have to ship Air Mail Parcel Post or Express Mail. You also have the option of Global Priority but that is not your best choice unless you can use a flat rate envelope.
If you use Air Mail Letter Post (under 4 pounds) you will need the little green customs form. If you use express or Air Parcel Post you will need the big white customs form. You can do express or Air Parcel Post on-line at USPS.com and get a 5% discount off the rate at the post office window. Also I beleive that on Air Parcel post a small amount of insurance (under $100) is now included in the purchase price based on the weight of the parcel.

    Hope that helps

    Hello, Everybody
I've been reading all the posts lately, and have decided to have special BuyOut auctions for our Pachitalkers overseas. The prices will vary and include shipping. I should have the auctions up soon, I'm waiting on a new shipment of supplies. It should be here by Monday. The shipment includes more token cups and some Pachinko trays that I'm trying out.
I also just set up a web store on godaddy.com. It only has one listing right now, still needs alot more work. I'm going to use it to showcase new products and my custom services. www.devographx.com

I should have the auctions up early enough, so you can give a gift to your favorite overseas Pachitalker. Custom Token Cups for the masses!
