    Default Pachislos at Value City!

I saw in their Sunday newspaper ad says that they have "Skill Stop" machines in for $99 with 100 "free" tokens.....With a pic of a King Pulsar.

It also says "Token machines ar prohibited in IN, MO, NC & NJ."

"Blowing smoke rings at the moon."

You can add WA to that list. As much as I do not want to admit it, that is how I got into pachinko. Pachislo/ Slot Machines are illegal in washington so I went with the second best thing which turned out to be even better. I do not understand why we are not allowed to have a skill stop machine that takes tokens when we have 4 casino's with an hour drive time that have slot machines. They don't want the competition or someone to get addicted to gambling I guess.

I'm sure they just listed states where they are illegal and they have stores.

Good point I should have thought it all through on that one. I have not heard of that store. LOL I guess I was just so unhappy with my state laws I jumped right to the point. Thanks for the post I really appreciate posts like this one. Living in WA the closest thing to me is Brenda's cabinets in Idaho, and I like to deal with people that are as close as possible.

The ad in Value City inspired me to do some research on pachislo and I ran across this site. I knew a little about it, and was a little shocked they were selling them for $99 (Friday only, now $129). I visited the local store (didn't even know we had one until I saw the ad) and noted they did not have the one pictured (King Pulsar Ace), but they had a slew of different models. A couple from the Hanabi Hyakkei series (one of them was the only one that featured a video screen). Most of the models looked pretty old to Japan's standards, as they did not feature anything "digital" besides the one with the video screen. From what I remember there was one that said Bingo and one that was casino themed. I failed to write down the remanufacturer or their phone number, so I have no idea what company is doing it. But, from what I can tell, walking out of a department store with a $129 pachislo seems like a pretty good deal (no shipping costs). They aren't flying off the shelves or anything, so there's still plenty of time to get one if you're still interested.

Thanks, guys. I found a picture of the "Hanabi Hyakkei" with the video screen in hanabi's gameroom photos. I don't remeber the colour of the one being sold, but this one is listed as Don Chan 2 Red. I THINK they're from the same series (Hanabi Hyakkei & Don Chan). Anyways, this model was the best one they had.

Hey the little old Don Chan 2 is a real Favourite of mine!

I know he's an oldie now (2001) - but he's such a Cutie with excellent gameplay!

I'm guessing it will be very very cheap to buy nowadays too........

Even though I have more up to date Pachislo like Sinbad Adventure and I am drawn more to Pachinkos, I still wouldn't part with Don Chan 2.......

He is listed in the Musem too along with a link............

and the museum Link - if you have registered?........

Have you registered for the museum here? If not, register with your same information and you will receive a reply. Then you are good to go in and find info on many, many machines. The museum button is on the navigation bar at the top of the page.

I just ran over to my local value city, they has a couple of king pulsar, a magic pulsar, and a couple of bingo. They were 129.99 if they were still$99 i probaly would of gotten one. The sticker on the box says they were remaufactured by a company in Ohio. I will have to watch and see if they go on sale again.

But if I could get a Sinbad, I would have to go deeper into debt....
